THIS IS THE BEGINNING.
I'll be upfront, wedding films are new for me.
I've worked with photography and video for a while, including brand films and more cinematic work, but this is my first step into filming weddings.
One of the reasons I want to do it is because I don't really enjoy posing people or trying to manufacture moments. I'd much rather stand back, watch what's happening and capture the real stuff.
I don't want you thinking about the camera all day. I don't want to stop you and ask you to do something again because I missed it. And I definitely don't want your wedding to feel like a film shoot.
I just want to let the day happen.
There'll obviously be times when I'll give you a bit of direction, but for the most part I want things to feel relaxed and natural.
My photography background has taught me a lot about light, composition and noticing the little things, and my video work has given me the filmmaking side. This is me bringing the two together.
The films themselves will have a bit of that old 16mm feel grain, movement, natural sound and all the imperfect little moments that give a film some character.
Because these are my first wedding films, I'm offering the first few at £795 while I build my portfolio.
